Most people can become a volunteer bone marrow donor
Virtually every adult can become a donor and therefore save a person’s life. Donors have to meet the following criteria:
- be over the age of 18 and under 50
- not be a person with medical risks
- represent no danger of contamination to the patient
Anyone who is a blood donor can also be considered.
